Hexagon: A group exhibition to commemorate six years of representing contemporary art in Asia

7 - 17 May 2022

Nova Contemporary is pleased to announce a new group exhibition to commemorate six years of representing contemporary art in Asia. HEXAGON presents the work of all of Nova’s artists, including Nipan Oranniwesna, Sawangwongse Yawnghwe, Nim Kruasaeng, Prae Pupityastaporn, Moe Satt, Tada Hengsapkul, Latthapon Korkiatarkul, Aracha Cholitgul, Kawita Vatanajyankur, Saroot Supasuthivech, Supawich Weesapen, and James Prapaithong.

Through the presentation of work in multiple forms—installation, moving images, paintings, and sculptural work—HEXAGON is a reflection of Nova Contemporary’s dedication to the promotion of pioneering artists in the region.

Nova Contemporary was founded to cultivate the reciprocal exchange of contemporary art and culture across Southeast Asia and beyond. We are proud to have worked closely with both leading and emerging artists in Thailand, and our program of boldly themed exhibitions aim to spark conversation, foster engagement, and incubate new concepts.

We are grateful for all the support and trust from our art community, and as the global Covid-19 pandemic begins to wind down, Nova is looking forward to once again being able to celebrate such a milestone with our brilliant artists.
