Moe Satt is included in the Bangkok Art Biennale 2026 as part of Beyond Pressure, a collective he formed with Myanmar artist Kelvin Shine Ko.
Fingers Poetic: Between Bend and Straight (2025) is a participatory, durational performance. It invites audiences to engage in a shared creative process through touch, movement, and conversation. Working with air-dry clay spread across a school slate, participants were invited to shape, mark, and transform its surface using their fingers and a roller. Inspired by Tibetan monks' creation and destruction of sand mandalas, these meditative gestures explore patience, discipline, violence, correction, and control. Through marking and erasure, they reflect on how individual actions accumulate into traces of collective memory.
The remaining works will be on view from 29 October – 25 November 2026 at the 9th Floor, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC).
