Vacharanont Sinvaravatn is included in “Warm Soil” at Vanguard Gallery Shanghai, alongside Santiago Mora.
Bringing together uninhabited yet captivating scenes, the exhibition considers landscape as a site of constant negotiation between human existence and the natural and material worlds. Across rural northeastern Thailand and the urban environments of Mexico, the paintings reveal landscapes in which the past persists quietly within the present.
The exhibition is curated by Li Qi will remain on view through 31 October.
